On Wednesday, March 27^th Silo took 38 students to compete in the 2024 SOSU Curriculum Meet.  They returned with 17 medals.  Earning them a 6^th place standing in Division 3. 

All told, 55 schools were represented in the 2024 contest, with 1,723 students registered in 35 exams across 29 subject areas. Tests were proctored in three sessions, with team points awarded to each school for a top placement. Schools were placed in five divisions with Division 5 denoting the largest schools participating.

This event dates back to 1910, when it was first held and known as the Southeastern High School Track Meet.

Gracey Gatlin - 5th in Music Literature

Fischer Harris - 4th in World History & 4th in Geography

Braylan Hastings - 2nd in Algebra I

Denver McBride - 3rd in Geography

John Poling - 5th in Accounting

Sophia Talkington - 1st in Chemistry

Izzy Whitlock - 3rd in Anatomy & 2nd in Psychology

Mason Wright - 2nd in Earth & Space Science
