Silo Early Childhood hosts several online learning platforms. Students use Reading Eggs to practice phonics and reading skills in a fun game-like format. Students also use Renaissance STAR Assessment to monitor their reading growth throughout the school year. Another program available to 1^st graders and up is the Accelerated Reader program where students read library books and then they are tested on their comprehension knowledge of the book. This allow students to earn points and rewards throughout the school year by meeting their AR Goal. Additionally, we are excited introduce and use a new online Math curriculum this year call Alpha Plus. This program is specifically designed to Oklahoma Academic Standards. It sets forth lessons and objectives and provides student guided and independent practice. At the end of each objective there is an online formative assessment for each student to take. The formative assessment provides progress monitoring and allows the teacher to remediate if needed. ~ Mrs. Brister, ECC Principal
